Starting at 8:30am on Independence Day, the City of Lakeway hosted their annual celebratory parade down Lakeway Drive from Live Oak Golf Course to the Lakeway Activity Center at Cross Creek Road. We didn’t want to miss out on the fun and thanks to a couple of volunteers, we didn’t have to! A big thank you to Old Lakeway resident, and co-owner of a first 300 home, Steve Schrimpf, who initiated the effort. We showed up in a classic car that belongs to Don Kahn, a LONG time resident of Old Lakeway; thank you to Don for lending us a befitting float! Also, thank you to Stokes Sign Company of Lakeway for providing a sign for the car!
